Tuesday Morning Mile Swim
The Tuesday morning mile swim is a weekly one mile swim at Long Beach in Sag Harbor, NY with the Dawgpatch crew. Come down and join in whether you can already swim a mile or want to build up each week throughout the season. The crew meets at the Noyac end (South end) of the Long Beach parking lot, swims to the north end of Long Beach parking lot, and gets a truck transport back to the south end of the parking lot. Long Beach is the perfect training ground for open water swimming as you can swim as close or as far from shore as you want.
At the end of each season (Tuesday after Labor Day) we hold an annual Noyac Bay Swim (3 miles) that is open to our Tuesday morning swim crew. This swim goes from Short Beach Rd. to Jessups Neck or visa versa depending on conditions. This swim is executed with guide boats and all swimmers must have successfully completed at least (2) Tuesday morning mile swims with the Dawgpatch crew before entering.
