Swimmers Spencer Schneider, Alyssa Drew, Nicholas McMahon, Matteo Stewart and Drew Harvey swam the length of Great Peconic Bay. Beginning at 5:30 a.m. from Red Cedar Point, the crew swam east to Robins Island covering 6.6 miles. Accompanied by two support boats manned by Captain and Crew the swimmers completed the feat in a grueling 4.5 hours into a head wind chop, rains, and threatening thunder storms.
