South to North

Juan Pinedo has thrown down a rugged ultra marathon for the PATCH. The “Grand Canyon Rim2Rim2Rim” is a 50 mile trail that runs from the South Rim to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona and back. Completed in a self supported style with a running partner, Pinedo took down the Rim2Rim2Rim challenge in 17.5 hours on September 17th, 2022.

Juan Pinedo, who heads High Vibes Running, a group that brings awareness to living a more purposeful life through health and movement, chose to partner with Dawgpatch Bandits for this run to raise money and support the “Fitness Station Campaign.”

This run not only satisfies Dawgpatch Bandits 100 pt. Challenge and Point to Point Challenge of the Year criteria, but also marks the first ever Dawgpatch Challenge Run that is of an ultra marathon distance.
