Fitness Station #3. Turning Point Men’s Home: Holtville, CA

Holtville, CA

Dawgpatch Bandits completes their 3rd fitness station at Turning Point Men’s Home in Holtville, California on May 24, 2021.

Turning Point Men’s Home is a rehabilitation center near and dear to the Bandits. Three years ago while riding across the United States, cyclists Drew Harvey and Payton Dwight were taken in by the caretaker of Turning Point, given a meal and put up on the prayer board. Moved by the act of kindness by the caretaker, Dawgpatch Bandits felt it only right to partner up with Turning Point as a part of its current campaign to install fitness stations at rehabilitation and recovery centers across the U.S. This campaign directly promotes fitness as a positive outlet for those in rehabilitation by building outdoor, free standing, workout equipment at centers like Turning Point. These stations are built to give individuals in rehabilitation a better resource to workout and integrate fitness into their lives.
