2019 Dawgpatch Fundraising Event

On August 18th the Dawgpatch Bandits Inc. was able to gather some of the finest community members, and family’s of the east end to the Bridgehampton Beach Club to raise a total of $15,000. The Dawgpatch used this money to set up the “Dawgpatch Scholarship Fund” at the Long Island Center for Recovery, to sponsor individuals in recovery who can not afford the cost of finishing their program; finish the building of the “Mike Semkus Memorial Fitness Station” located behind Pierson High School; and to contribute to the “Anthony Grasso Foundation” to help complete a “safe space” project at the University of San Diego in memory of Anthony Grasso.

Hosted at the Bridgehampton Beach Club, this was certainly a night to remember. Local artists of Long Island and beyond donated their work to be auctioned at the event, local restaurants and bars donated food and drink, live music was performed by Annie Trezza, Chloe Gifikins, and George Mueller, and members of Pierson’s Volleyball team volunteered with others to help pull of this amazing event.
